Scene 07

[Today at the hair salon, Toni's drone is hard at work and chatting it up with her fellow drone clients as usual. In the middle of giving a drone woman a trim, however, her face suddenly goes blank and she lops off a huge lock of hair without even thinking. The drone customer does not take it well.]

Oh, you clumsy girl! Just look what you've done!

[Toni blinks.] Huh? Oh my God, what am I doing here?

Are you listening to me, young lady?

Wait, what? O-oh, oh jeez! I'm so sorry, ma'am, I wasn't paying attention-

I'll say! Get me your manager this instant!

[And that is the story all about how Toni's life got flipped turned upside down got sent home from work early! Which leads to a phone call once she gets home and sees A) the date on the calendar and B) that her hair was back to its natural color.]

...Did anybody else lose a month or is it just me?

I know! I've been pretty lucky so far. I haven't, you know, died or anything, either.

Nope! I got killed pretty early into my stay here.

I've been lucky since then though! I even made it through Westport....twice!
